Order and Deliver Software

This guide walks you through the complete workflow of ordering a software package and delivering it to Microsoft Intune.

  1. Check the catalog for new versions

    Navigate to updatery > Catalog and check if a new software version is available. Use the search field to find your software quickly.

  2. Order a package build

    Go to Package Recipes and find the recipe for your software. Click Order Package Build in the recipe row. This creates a build order and queues it for processing.

  3. Track the build progress

    Navigate to Build Orders to monitor the status of your order. The status progresses through: Pending → In Progress → Completed (or Failed).

  4. Review the completed package

    Once the build completes, find your package under Software Packages > Completed Packages. Verify the software name, version, and platform are correct.

  5. Document the smoke test

    Before delivering, document a smoke test result for quality tracking. Mark the test as passed or note any issues found.

  6. Deliver to Intune

    Select the package and click Deliver. The package is transferred to your configured Intune tenant via the delivery profile. Ensure the tenant connection is verified before delivering.
